Melissa Altro, Voice Actor
Melissa is a Toronto-based Canadian voice actor with over 20 years of industry experience. Melissa began her career at age 12, playing the role of Muffy Crosswire in the 6-time Emmy Award-winning PBS show Arthur, a role she continues to play today. Melissa also works as a voice coach through her own company, Voice Pro Studio in Toronto.

A Métis actor from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Jenny has over 18 years of on-camera experience. Her most recent credits include a starring role in the hit APTN series Mohawk Girls, and a recurring role in new the series, The Pinkertons. Jenny also works as an acting coach and instructor for film and television at Armstrong Acting Studios in Toronto.

Tracey Deer, Filmmaker
Tracey is an award-winning filmmaker from the Mohawk Community of Kahnawake. As a producer, writer and director, Tracey has focused her work on exploring current Aboriginal realities. She is also the owner and founder of Mohawk Princess Pictures. She’s also a co-creator, executive producer and director of the critically acclaimed series Mohawk Girls, a dramatic comedy series produced by Rezolution Pictures for APTN.

Dr. Melinda Gooderham, Dermatologist
Dr. Gooderham is a Dermatologist and Medical Director at the SKiN Centre for Dermatology in Peterborough, Ontario, and an Investigator with Probity Medical Research. She’s an Assistant Professor at Queens University, a Consultant Physician at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Her practice focuses on psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, skin cancer and clinical research.

Tracy Leigh Campbell, Drama Teacher
Tracy Leigh is a professional theatre artist, educator and yoga instructor, having worked in numerous theatre communities across Canada for over 15 years. She’s experienced in acting, directing, clown, dance and ensemble-based creation. Tracy Leigh is part of the Professional Theatre Department, working as a professor at John Abbott College.

Evan is a goaltender for the Sherbrooke Phoenix, a team in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) based in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Evan was drafted to the Sherbrooke Phoenix in the first round, fourth overall, in the QMJHL Entry Draft in 2014, and was named to the QMJHL Rookie All-Star Team in 2014-2015.

Miles Thompson, Lacrosse Player
Miles is a professional lacrosse player for the Rochester Rattlers, in the National Lacrosse League. He was raised in Akwesasne Mohawk Territory. In 2014, Miles finished his college lacrosse career as the University of Albany’s leader for all-time points (293) and goals (189). In addition, Miles and his brothers run their own lacrosse camp for Aboriginal youth, Thompson Brothers Lacrosse Camps.

Walter Scott, Comic Book Artist
Walter is a Toronto/Montréal based artist working in writing, illustration, performance and sculpture. His ongoing comic book series, Wendy, follows the fictional narrative of a young woman living in an urban centre, whose dreams of contemporary art stardom are perpetually derailed. Dr. Hans Larsson, Palaeontologist
Dr. Larsson is a Vertebrate Paleontologist and an Associate Professor at McGill University in Montreal. He teaches Animal Diversity, Vertebrate Evolution, Developmental Evolution, and the Vertebrate Palaeontology field course. He is also the curator of Vertebrate Palaeontology and Director at McGill’s Redpath Museum.

Chantal Montreuil, Palaeontology Technician
Chantal is the fossil lab technician at McGill University’s Redpath Museum in Montreal. Chantal has been at the museum for over 10 years and got her start at Redpath through a 12-week internship to help design and build the Quebec Biodiversity gallery. Chantal’s most recent (and most exciting) work includes preparing the skull of Sarcosuchus (known as the ‘Super Croc’) found in Niger Africa.
